Here is an absolute rags to riches detailed review about my amazing Realtor®, Tony Babarino from Irvine, California (Orange County). Since moving out to California back in 2014, I have been trying so desperately to purchase a home with my wife. After losing several jobs, having to relocate my family, strikes within the film & television entertainment industry (where I work), inflation in general, and then COVID-19, I honestly thought this dream of being a homeowner was impossible. Tony convinced me I was dead wrong and here is how! I met my real estate agent Tony Babarino through a mutual friend in 2016 and I was impressed with how professional, confident, and friendly he carried himself. I was immediately drawn to him because of his knowledge of the market and character but he became so much more than just my agent. Trying to secure a loan was difficult initially so I had to wait. Tony took it upon himself to set me on a path of success while advising me on how to save money, paying off school loans, and credit card debt. We would spend hours on the phone discussing options and, through it all, Tony was an angel on my shoulder. In 2017, a year later my wife and I secured a pre-approval through Tony’s many lending contacts and then I lost my job. Again. During this time, my wife and I referred a family member to Tony who was looking to purchase their first home as well. He provided them the same great service, care, and diligence which led to them finding and purchasing a home at an amazing deal! They were happy and it is a fantastic home! Of course they left 5-star reviews to Tony as well. While we continued our home search, Tony stayed engaged and helped us remain positive. Multiple pre-approvals fell through, but overtime due to Tony’s guidance we were building our down deposit ever so slightly, ultimately putting us in a better position to buy. Tony took us to properties all over Los Angeles County, Orange County (such as Irvine areas like Turtle Rock, Portola Springs, Woodbury, Orchard Hills, etc), Riverside County, and Ventura County. We went from looking at single family residences and townhomes to condos and Tony would routinely send us options within our budget and preferences. The one thing I really liked about Tony is that he was thoughtful and never pushed us. He truly valued us and respected our friendship more than just trying to make a sale. More hardships ensued, but then… :) Finally, an offer was ACCEPTED! I did get teary-eyed when I found out the news of our accepted offer on a home. All this time of trying to accomplish what I thought impossible had paid off and I owe that all to Tony Babarino (@tonybabarino). We went on such an emotional roller coaster I personally cannot believe Tony stayed with us the entire time. Truly, my story is a testament to how much patience, respect, thoughtfulness, and persistence Tony has for the sellers and buyers he works with. He made this journey fun and exciting, always inspiring us while also helping us to make careful decisions. His vast knowledge of the market, personal customer service, vibrant/professional character set him apart from other agents that we, our friends, and family would strongly recommend him for any real estate needs of selling or buying.
